It’s been a while since I shared my product offerings and since there have been quite a few books going out the door these days, it’s time to share some :)
I offer two types of photo books - a photo book and an album. Both are hardcover and come with a large variety of cover options from linens to leathers and all sorts of fun type faces for foil stamping or debossing. Both are guaranteed to stand the test of time and preserve your memories in a beautiful way. I’ll outline the differences below -
First up - the Album - This is the be all, end all of high end, luxury photo books. It is thick, durable, heavy and will leave no doubt in your mind that it is the boss of all photo books. Each page is flush mount - it is one large piece of photographic paper mounted on a thick substrate (we can do either 1/16” or 1/32”) so it will resist dings and bends over the years. The photographic paper of this book is a big deal - most consumer grade books do NOT come with this feature. Photographic paper means your images are exposed onto light sensitive paper, they are TRUE photographs, not ink on paper. Their color will be true and archival if cared for properly over the years. Being flush mount means we can design pages with your images right up to the edge of the page and cross the seam in the middle of the spread - meaning you won’t lose part of your photo in the crease! Each page is hand bound to the one piece, wrap around cover. Covers come in a wide array of materials from linens, leathers and custom covers on acrylic or metal and more!
Second up - the Hardcover photo book - This is the little sister to the album. Also made of the finest materials, the pages are thick (not AS thick, but sturdy and deicious) and are also designed with spreads that lay flat so you can design right up to the edge and across the seam of your book. These books use the finest press papers, with natural fibers and a luxurious hand-feel. The matte texture adds a richness to the images and a timeless quality to your memories. Covers come in a large variety of linens, faux leathers and custom covers as well.
These books are strong and beautiful enough to stand on their own, but also make great companion books. Many clients will purchase an album for themselves and gift loved ones a duplicate photo book, or use the photobook to preserve their engagement session.
