Today's post is a little different than my standard blog entry. This shoot was a purely personal endeavor, simply intended to step away from the norm, do something fun and collaborate with another creative type. Since it was all of these things, I vote it a success ;)
The wonderful model in this shoot is a friend from my Berklee days, Krysta Youngs. She's a super talented, spunky, colorful singer/songwriter living in LA and she's also amazing at makeup, wardrobe styling and being a model - we had SO much fun! We went up into mountains by Lake Arrowhead, got lost on little back roads and when we found this field of flowers, we knew we found our spot. Flowy vintage dresses with breezy veils, eyelashes for days and a handmade twig headpiece all in the forest - call me smitten!
Check out Krysta's work HERE. Enjoy my favorites from our fun little outing.
